Morphology

Dwarf, almost stemless epiphyte, with numerous white-streaked greyish roots, with leaves 2-4, linear or narrowly strap-shaped. Inflorescence bearing 8-12 flowers very close together. Flowers white.

    Plants epiphytic, with creeping or erect, to 20 mm long stems; leaves occasionally absent, linear-lorate, unequally bilobed, lobes rounded, 25-65 x 5-8 mm. Inflorescences several, pendent from below the leaves, 20-45 mm long and with 5-11 densely aggregated flowers; sheaths broadly obovate, 2 mm long; bracts tubular, 1 mm long; pedicels to 10 mm long. Flowers white with a green gynostemium. Sepals spreading; median oblong-elliptic, rounded, 4.5-6 x 2.5-3 mm; laterals oblanceolate-rhomboid, subacute, 5-7 x 1.7-3 mm. Petals oblong-obovoid, obtuse to rounded, 5-6 x 1.8-3.3 mm. Lip oblong, truncate, emarginate, margins undulate, 5-6 x 2.5-5 mm, with a small tooth at the entrance to the spur; spur pendent from a slightly swollen base, apical half swollen, 12-17 mm long. Gynostemium 2 mm tall; central rostellum lobe forming a tapering fleshy cone 1 mm long.
