Morphology

Glabra. Caules sulcati, adulti verruculosi. Foliorum lamina rigide membranacea, oblonga, basi rotundata vel obsolete cordata, apice acuta, mucronata, 3 1/2 cm longa, 1 3/4 cm lata, laete viridis, simpliciter 5-7-nervia, nervis venisque supra obscuris subtus prominulis; petiolus brevis, 1/2 -1 cm longus, basi stipulis minutis subulatis demum incrassatis instructus. Racemi 'masculum' subspicati, 3 cm longi; flores solitarii, approximati, brevissime pedicellati, 2 1/2 mm longi, 2 mm remoti. Perianthii infundibuliformis segmenta oblonga. Stamina 6, tubo perLanthii inserta, segmentis paullo breviora, incurvata. Rudimentum stylinum subnullum.
