Male flowers with 18–24 sepals, margins ciliate with white hairs, otherwise glabrous, blackish when dry, the outer very small, less than 0.5 mm. in diam., the median larger, the inner ovate, 1.7–2.2 x 1.2–1.4 mm.; petals 6, 0.8–1.2 x 0.8–1.2 mm., broadly ovate-elliptic, more or less fleshy; synandrium 1.3–1.6 mm. long; anthers 9–10.

Female flowers with sepals similar to those of the male; petals 3; staminodes 3, hairy; carpels 6; ovary 1.2–1.6 mm. long, densely tomentellous.
Drupelets c. 1.5–1.8 x 1 cm., subglobular, puberulous to pubescent.
Male inflorescences of 4–6-flowered corymbs; peduncle 1–1.5 cm. long.
Leaf-lamina 3–7 x 2–4 cm., elliptic or ovate-elliptic, obtuse at the base, obtuse and sometimes mucronulate at the apex, papyraceous to subcoriaceous, discolorous, nerves 2–4 on each side, petiole 0.5–1.5 cm. long, whitish or yellowish puberulous.
