General Information

Plants slender, herbaceous, up to 35 cm tall. Stem glabrous to sparsely pubescent. Root tuberous, globose. Leaves bipinnate, petiolate; leaflets lanceo¬late to oval; margins entire. Involucral bracts lacking. Rays 5-7. Involucel of 5-7 oval to lanceolate bractlets. Pedicels 8-12, 3-4 times longer than the flowers. Petals white. Stylopodium depressed to slightly conical; styles 1 mm long. Fruit cylindrical; ridges prominent; vittae absent or obscure.
