    Herbe' souvent robuste, parfois glaucescente, à tiges plus élancées, feuilles, fleurs et fruits légèrement plus grands que dans G. pharnaceoides, dont elle ne diffère nettement que par le nombre double des étamines.' Inflorescences aussi variables que dans cette dernière espèce. Certains exemplaires (de Lobito) sont ♀ et ont 10 carpelles: var. decagyna Hauman, Bull. Jard. Bot. État Brux., XIX, p. 444 (1949).
