Morphology

Cormous geophyte, 10-20 cm. Leaves lanceolate, margins ciliate, uppermost about halfway up the stem. Flowers sessile in short spikes, white to pink, tepals free, styles free, filiform.

    Plants 10-20 cm high; corm tunics black, leathery or cartilaginous. Leaves three, lanceolate to narrowly lanceolate, the margins minutely hairy, the uppermost set about halfway up the stem. Flowers sessile in short spikes, white to maroon, tepals 7-12 mm long, claws 1.5-2 mm long, filaments 2-3 mm long, anthers c. 1 mm long, styles free,2-2.5 mm long.
