Is also rarely found as an escape. It has 2–3 styles and nutlets, and less deeply cut lvs; red-fld forms are common. (C. oxyacantha, misapplied)

    Morphology

    Bis 4 m hoher Strauch mit Dornen, Kurztriebe nicht verdornend. Nebenblätter fertiler Triebe mit 15–50 feinen Zähnen. Blätter nur im äusseren Drittel 3–5lappig, mit schmalen Einschnitten, beidseits fast gleichfarbig. Blattnerven einwärts gebogen. Ab
