Morphology

Perennial herb, succulent, up to 0.01 m high. Leaves truncate in profile, 25-49 x 20-30 mm, fissure shallow, faces various shades of brown or grey with translucent greenish or brownish windows and channels, smooth to very slightly rugose. Flowers: corolla 25-50 mm in diameter; petals yellow; Apr.-Jul. Fruit 5- or 6-locular.
