Inflorescences scapose, 1-flowered; involucral bracts 3, whorled. Flowers terminal, bisexual. Sepals petaloid. Petals absent. Stamens numerous; filaments sublinear; anthers ellipsoid. Pistils numerous; ovary 1-ovuled. Styles persistent, short. Achenes ovoid.
