Shrubs scandent, 2-4 m. Branchlets terete, angular or grooved. Leaves opposite, pinnatipartite or compound with 5-9 leaflets; petiole 0.5-4 cm; leaflet blade ovate or narrowly so (terminal one usually narrowly rhomboid), 0.7-3.8 × 0.5-1.5 cm, base cuneate or blunt, apex acute, acuminate, or blunt, sometimes mucronate. Cymes terminal or axillary, 2-9-flowered; bracts linear, 2-3 mm. Pedicel 0.5-2.5 cm, middle pedicel of cymes conspicuously shorter. Calyx glabrous; lobes subulate-linear, (3-)5-10 mm. Corolla white, salverform; tube 1.3-2.5 cm; lobes often 5, oblong, 1.3-2.2 cm. Fruit not seen. Fl. Aug-Oct. 2n = 26*.

    Hasta 1 m de alto. Hojas imparipinnadas, 7–9 folíolos, folíolos glabros o ligeramente vellosos en la base del envés, folíolo terminal elíptico o lanceolado, a menudo continuo con los folíolos superiores laterales, 2.5–4 cm de largo y 1–1.7 cm de ancho, ápice acuminado-apiculado, base decurrente, folíolos laterales oblongos, 1.5–2 cm de largo y 0.9–1.3 cm de ancho, ápice obtuso-apiculado, base obtusa o inequilátera y entonces un lado obtuso y el otro decurrente. Inflorescencia terminal, un dicasio ampliamente patente-paniculado, con 7–34 flores; cáliz glabro, tubo 2–3 mm de largo, lobos 5, filiformes, 5–9 mm de largo; corola blanca, tubo 12–25 mm de largo, lobos 5–7, 12–20 mm de largo y 6–9 mm de ancho.
